Perched on the Zellberg above Zell im Zillertal in the Austrian province of Tyrol, we enjoy breathtaking views out across the entire upper Zillertal Valley. Our vacation apartments and rooms, decorated in a typical Tyrolean style, lie in a very sunny and peaceful setting, perfect in so many ways for family holidays and beautiful getaways for two.  At our restaurant - which also boasts a sunny terrace here at 850 metres above sea level - we are proud to serve all-natural ingredients produced right here in the Zillertal.

You'll probably only truly understand after you have experienced springtime in the Zillertal for yourself.  The snow melts and you catch sight of the first lilies-of-the-valley out on the meadows.  Your skin is pleasantly warmed by the sunshine, the crystal-clear alpine air invigorates you and the countryside beckons you to set out on the first hikes of the new season.

Summer captivates visitors with its tranquility and  a true lightness of being.  Far removed from the hectic outside world, you will discover meadows in bloom, romantic alpine pastures and crystal-clear mountain lakes.  Even the high peaks of the Zillertal Alps are now free of snow and are just waiting to be conquered.  Down in the valley, outdoor pools invite you to take a gloriously refreshing dip.

Colorful leaves and pristine nature - the face of autumn in the Zillertal.  The cows return to the valley from summer grazing on the high pastures, greeted with all kinds of festivities, parades and celebrations.  A time when the farmers have their hands full, harvesting the countless varieties of fruit that grow in their own gardens and orchards, many of which are then turned into traditional Tyrolean distilled spirits.  Of course, no vacation would be complete without sampling one or two of those for yourself! 

Winter in "the world's most active valley" promises boundless fun in the snow.  The countless ski areas become a mecca for skiers and snowboarders.  But even away from the slopes, there's plenty going on: a mug of hot spiced wine for the party animals during après-ski, or perhaps a stroll through the snowy valleys for all of you romantics.  During this, the coldest season in the Zillertal, there is always something guaranteed to appeal to each and every visitor.
